Where is Our Journey Going?

My life changed as a small girl when I no longer wanted to eat only drink water.  My mother took me to the doctor, and the first doctor told her I could lose more weight.  She waited another week and then decided to speak with here their physician, and he noticed right away something was wrong.

My life turned upside down when the doctor told me I had type 1 diabetes and would have to take insulin shots for the rest of my life.  I was an eight-year-old girl with many new responsibilities.

At that time, there was no handheld glucometers or insulin pumps.  I had to guess what my blood sugars were and took insulin daily.

Over the years, things have changed for the better, and I am still here to see my children grow and my grandchildren.  I am using an insulin pump and have been for the past 20 years.  It has made my life much easier.

Now, there is a supplement that may be able to help me regulate my blood sugar, and I am so excited to try it and see how it can help me with my health!

I will keep you all posted on my progress and update my blog as time progresses.

Thank you for taking the time to interact with me and hope to become real friends along our journey of life!
